Hey, all! I'm very excited to announce a fantastic show I'll be hosting at the gorgeous Gypsy Den in Santa Ana! Opening the night will be an acoustic set by the brilliant Playboy School, and then Marijke Groat, Eric Shouse and I will tickle your ears with an acoustic "round robin" set of our original music. Come enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of espresso, their ridiculously good nachos, or a home-baked brownie. It's definitely one of the best live music venues in OC, and by far the most gloriously boho.

Indelible Ink is a Vanguard Performance Art Series that operates under the auspices of the Pasadena Arts Council’s EMERGE® program. Conceived by ink’s host, Monica Lee Copeland, the non-profit project delivers eleven new shows on the last Tuesday of each month (except December) at Café Bizou in Old Pasadena.
Indelible Ink showcases performance artists whose original work is avant garde: courageous, entertaining and thought-provoking. Whether its words, music, movement or a mélange of mediums, the artist communicates with one in such a way that your soul is indelibly marked. Café Bizou’s elegant décor and historic architecture provide an incredible back drop to the theatrical experience without a theater’s overhead. This means that ink can offer you extraordinary entertainment affordably and compensate our artists for their time and talent. With the spirit of inclusion, we select performers whose backgrounds and viewpoints reflect life in the Diaspora. ink rejoices in literature, art and the light it brings.
On the last Tuesday of each month (except December) Monica Lee Copeland lines-up five outstanding artists who make Café Bizou their stage. The show runs from 6:30 to 9:30pm with the segments detailed below. To discover which performers are headlining these segments in upcoming shows, check out our calendar.

Hello, all! I am thrilled to be playing at the Harvest cafe after their Sunday evening service on April 15th! I may also be playing with the worship team during their Sunday service, so if you're able to come out early, I recommend it! I will be playing original songs, and possibly a worship song or two. It's free, the coffee and the food are awesome, and you're guaranteed to make a new friend. Every single time I've gone to a Harvest event, that's what has happened.
Please let me know if you need any further info, and I hope to see you there!

Please come out and support Mountain Child, a non-profit organization providing aid, education, and hope to disadvantaged children in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. The organization was founded by Jack Reid, the man who pastored the English speaking church I attended while in Korea called "The Nations". Now he is pretty much full-time raising support for and heading up Mountain Child. The need is so great, and the stories of what Mountain Child has already been able to accomplish - including building an orphanage and school, creating systems to supply water to remote areas where some people had never showered in their lives, and saving lives with medical supplies - are nothing short of awe inspiring. But there is still SO much more to be done. Please visit www.mountainchild.org to learn more about what has already happened there, and what still needs to be done.
You can help by simply purchasing a ticket, coming to a beautiful resort in Laguna Beach, eating a lovely dinner, and listening to some amazing stories. You'll also learn a lot about a fascinating part of the world from people who have been there. This will be a fascinating and diverse group of attendees, as well, so it won't be boring! And, of course, I will be performing the Mountain Child theme song, "Carry Hope", as well as playing background music with my band for your listening pleasure. It will be an informative night, a heartbreaking night, and a hopeful one. I hope to see some of you there!

Please come out and join me for my solo acoustic set at Teen Challenge's "Concerts on the Castle Green" series. All ages welcome!
Redondo Beach, CA 90277
Sorry for the late notice, but I am a last minute add to this show where I will be opening for "Suburban Skies" (www.reverbnation.com/suburbanskies), an aewsome band that does their own arrangements of Beatles covers and has developed quite a following for themselves. I am excited to hear them live!
The venue is one of the coolest I have ever played: The Brixton in Redondo Beach (www.brixtonsouthbay.com). It's near really cool restaurants, right on the pier, great for a night out. This is a chill crowd, too, lots of Biola people (Nick - the lead singer - is a Biola prof in the business school) and I am totally honored to be a part of this.
AND, I will be playing songs no one has ever heard before! New songs we're recording, but I have never played live. So you can tell me afterwards if they're good or terrible!
June 11th, doors open 7pm, I play 8:15ish
$10.00 presale, $15.00 at the door
(talk to me if you’re broke – we’ll figure something out! I just want you there!)
Since this is very last minute, please call me for tickets. I have 50 of them and can get them to you even right before the show.
